Methodology

We check label evidence before recommendation claims

EviNutri compares public label data, ingredient structure, calorie density, life stage, breed size, and health context instead of treating product names as rankings.

1. We start with public label evidence

The review begins with ingredient names, guaranteed analysis, kcal/kg, feeding guidance, and additional nutrients disclosed by the manufacturer.

Ingredient order

We compare the first ingredients with carbohydrate and plant-protein positions.

Calorie density

A 100g serving can lead to very different feeding amounts and weight outcomes.

Disclosed nutrients

Sodium, phosphorus, calcium, and omega fatty acids matter more in some contexts than others.

2. We avoid one-score conclusions

Choosing food is less about a universal best product and more about reducing the right risk for the current dog. Age, weight, activity, and diagnosis context can change the reading.

3. Health issues are handled conservatively

EviNutri does not diagnose disease or promise treatment outcomes. Veterinary advice and test results come first; the analysis helps owners read labels more clearly.

4. Missing evidence lowers confidence

If a manufacturer does not disclose important nutrient or sourcing details, we do not call the food bad by default. We lower confidence in the comparison.
